With MOBILEtechnics through the rough and smooth
The Handy-Safari, a mutual campaign between Swiss tourism and Coop has been recognised with the «Milestone 2007». The exciting and sustentative game invites the player to discover a region. MOBILEtechnics is responsible for the technical implementation.
Handy-Safari, a treasure hunt via mobile phone, combines entertaining and informative elements. It invites holidaymakers to become more familiar with their chosen region in an exciting way. The game enjoys great popularity with hikers. Following on from Lenzerheide and Arosa, eleven further regions are now also offering their guests the attractive brainteaser.
Handy-Safari motivates both children and adults to make exciting discoveries on foot. It provides them with ideas for excursions for the whole family and, with a bit of luck, the ramblers will be rewarded with a winning prize. And Handy-Safari itself also belongs to the winners!

Milestone 2007
The institution responsible for the MILESTONE is the industry journal hotelrevue (htr), published by hotelleriesuisse. Its partners are SECO, the state secretariat for the economy, and the Swiss tourist association (STV). The milestones are awarded in the categories of «An Individual’s Lifework», «Outstanding Project» and «Junior Employee with Exceptional Performance».
