24.08.2007 | PostFinance mobile payments |

PostFinance launches a new, innovative type of cash-free payment.
Mobile phone payment by PostFinance is the first mass-market form of payment in mobile commerce, which permits purchases by mobile phone. MOBILEtechnics is offering this new form of payment to dealers in cooperation with PostFinance.
New distribution channels for dealers With mobile phone payments via PostFinance, dealers are relieved of the extensive collection procedure with bill and pay-in slip. Additionally, it also opens up new distribution channels to them, through which to order new products and services via mobile phone, with payments also possible via mobile. Providers who wish to use the PostFinance payment method require an abbreviated dialling number, which is operated by MOBILEtechnics. The speedy receipt of payment, the reduced risk of late payments and the support of all mobile phone and network operators are advantages, which cannot be enjoyed with today’s forms of payment in mobile commerce.
Many advantages for the consumer Firstly, customers profit from the reasonable prices. With dealers relieved of the collection process and pay-in slips, they also save on costs. They are able to pass these savings on to their customers. As with purchases via the internet, payment takes place at the same time as the order. PostFinance also eliminates the prospect of any debts arising, with online authorisation ensuring that every payment is made to the post office account and a monthly limit in place, set at 250 francs as standard.
